Eros Ramazzotti with Messi, Iniesta, Sergio and Luis Enrique at the Ciutat Esportiva / MIGUEL RUIZ - FCB

The presence of Italian singer Eros Ramazzotti was the talking point at the Ciutat Esportiva this morning.

The 52 year old, who has sold over 60 million records worldwide and is a huge name in the Spanish-speaking world, was performing at the Palau Sant Jordi on Sunday night.

“I get goose-bumps watching Barça play” he said on Monday. “Barça is my second favourite team. I like Italian calcio a lot but I must admit that Barça play the best football in the world. It’s a fantastic team and I think the key factor is the way they understand each other so well.”

At the end of the workout, the man who is currently promoting his latest studio album Perfecto, was able to exchange words with Messi, Iniesta, Sergio Busquets and Luis Enrique.

Vice-president for sport Jordi Mestre also popped by to present the singer with an FC Barcelona short with his name on the back.
