So far in the Luis Enrique era, FC Barcelona have compiled an astounding list of achievements — 81 wins in 101 games, the Club's second treble, five titles in 2015, etcetera, etcetera.

Nevertheless, there is one area that Barça have yet to master: Celta de Vigo. Two of Barça's nine defeats in the last year and a half come courtesy of Celta, a team that was led by Luis Enrique himself before taking over the reins at FC Barcelona.

Celta and Barça have met three times since then, The group has met three times Galician club of Luis Enrique, with a Larrivey goal giving Celta a 1–0 win at Camp Nou last season, Luis Enrique's first home loss after coming aboard.

Barça won a vital match at Celta later in the season, though they needed a late-header by Jérémy Mathieu to snare the three points. The win allowed Barça to stay atop the table.

In the fifth game of this season, however, Celta got their revenge, beating Barça 4–1 at Balaídos, making them the only side the best Barça twice over the same period. Celta have outscored Barça 5–2 in the three games, a telltale for this Sunday's obstacle.
