Due to a mechanical fault with the plane Barça were not able to return from Amsterdam directly after their 2-0 win away at Ajax. Instead they stayed the night in Holland and returned to Barcelona at around 2pm local time on Thursday. Immediately after landing at El Prat Airport they headed straight to the Ciutat Esportiva for a training session.

It was a recovery day for those players who were involved in the win against Ajax in the Amsterdam Arena- Luis Suárez and Vermaelen carried out individual work whilst Iniesta, Sergi Roberto and Mathieu all continued with their recoveries from injury. Munir from the B squad completed the session once again with the first team.

The next training session will take place on Friday afternoon, following which the squad will make their way to Almería for their next league fixture which is on Saturday at 4PM (CET).
