[[DES_1]]It only took a minute for Pedro Rodríguez to wonderfully control a pass from Rakitic and open the scoring for Barça against Córdoba. And that came just a few days after the Canary Islander got a hat-trick against Huesca in the Spanish Cup.

Magic month

That’s six goals for the striker in the month of December. Huesca were on the receiving end of four of them, two in the first leg and three in the second. Pedro also found the net in the derby against Espanyol following a fine run down the right and his goalscoring form continued on Saturday against Córdoba.

94 goals

That takes his overall tally for the club up to 94 goals. He has scored 55 of those in the league, to add to 17 in the Copa del Rey, 15 in the Champions League, 2 in the Spanish Super Cup, 1 in the European Super Cup and 2 in the Clubs World Cup. He’s scored in every one of the major competitions that Barça has participated in.

Joint top with Messi

Following his brace today, Leo Messi has also ended December with six goals to his name – meaning he and Pedro are Barça’s top goalscorers for the month.
