Neymar reaches 50 games for FC Barcelona

The game against Eibar was Neymar's fiftieth for the Club and his goal his twenty-fourth

After just over a season at the Club, Neymar has now played 50 official games, marking his half century with the team’s second goal against Eibar on Saturday night. In all, the Brazilian has played 33 league matches, 12 in the Champions League, 3 in the Spanish Cup and 2 in the Spanish Super Cup.

Neymar made his debut in the summer of 2013 in the first leg of the Spanish Super Cup against Atletico Madrid at the Vicente Calderón, coming on as a sub to head in a Dani Alves cross and score what proved to be the goal that won the title for Barça.

24 goals in 4 competitions

That was the first of 24 goals in his 50 games so far: 17 in the league – 8 so far this season – 5 in Europe and 1 in the Spanish Cup. His most spectacular performances have come at the Camp Nou with hat tricks against Celtic in last year’s Champions League and again this year in the league against Granada.
