Munir vows to keep working for a place

The Barça B striker is delighted with Luis Enrique’s trust in him and pleased with job he’s doing

Munir El Haddadi was one of the stars of the fourth friendly of the preseason. Active and dynamic, he scored two of the first three goals of the night, which made up for the two chances he missed in Nice. "I am very happy with my two goals” he said afterwards. “And I’m happy with the team and how the game ended. I’ll keep working hard and if things go well, I’ll be scoring plenty more goals".

Munir is delighted that manager Luis Enrique has shown so much faith in him, and promises that “from now on, I’ll be fighting to get as far as possible”.

Asked about his on-going presence with the first team squad, he mentioned fellow striker Deulofeu, calling him “a great team-mate. He’s such a good player, but it’s the manager who’ll decide. Luis Enrique has asked me to carry on working and that’s what I’m doing.”

Masip:

“The boss has told us not to worry. Just to work hard. He’ll decide who the first choice is”.

“The three keepers are well-matched. I really think if I keep working hard, I can make things difficult, but for the good of the team. I’m very happy, excited about things and eager to compete”.

On Bravo’s error in Geneva: “You get over these things quickly”.

“Although I didn’t have much to do, you always have to be ready. They can score a goal if you make the smallest mistake”.

Bartra:

“I’m very pleased with how things have started and excited about the way they are going. We’re fit and there’s a great relationship between the players”.

“From my point of view, I am better in every aspect this season. I’ve been excited since the first day”.

“There will be competition, but that’s very good for the team. We all have to be 100%”
