Messi, Iniesta and Vermaelen train with group

The first team squad were back in training on Monday evening after a couple of days off. Although the international players were still missing, Messi (thigh), Iniesta (knee) and Vermaelen (hamstring) all took part in the session as they continue with their recoveries.

Luis Enrique was able to call on Ter Stegen, Montoya, Piqué, Xavi, Luis Suárez, Douglas, Adriano, Alves, Sergi Roberto and B team keeper  José Aurelio Suárez. Sergi Roberto was released from the Spanish Under 21 squad as he was suspended for the game against Austria.

Jordi Masip, who is recovering from a broken finger, worked apart from the rest of the squad.
