Following the final training session before taking on Sevilla at the Camp Nou on Saturday at 8.00 PM CET, Jérémy Mathieu and Rafinha Alcántara were both declared fully fit and available for selection by Luis Enrique. The French defender picked up a soleus injury in his right foot three weeks ago against Celta, while Rafinha pulled a muscle in his right leg during the international break.
That means that Andrés Iniesta, who also has a soleus injury, is the only player currently sidelined. But he was able to train normally at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper on Friday morning and judging by what manager Luis Enrique had to say during his press conference after wards, the midfielder should be back in action very soon. The 23 first team players that trained today were joined by Barça B’s Munir.
Luis Enrique will be announcing his squad for the game with Sevilla on Saturday morning.
