Luis Suárez to join training tomorrow and be presented at the Gamper on Monday

Following the announcement of the verdict by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) regarding the appeal against the sanction imposed on Luis Suárez by FIFA, FC Barcelona hereby announces that the player will join the first team’s training session scheduled for tomorrow Friday at 9.30 AM CET in the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.

Suárez will be presented as a new FC Barcelona player on Monday at the Camp Nou, on occasion of the Joan Gamper Trophy match. The morning after, Tuesday, the Uruguayan will appear for the media on the Camp Nou turf and then give a press conference.

Friday, 15 August

• At 9.30 AM CET, training session at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.

The first 15 minutes will be open to the media.

• At 6.30 PM CET, training session behind closed doors at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.

Saturday, 16 August

• Rest day for first team.

Sunday, 17 August

• At 9.30 AM CET, training session at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.
• The first 15 minutes will be open to the media.

Monday, 18 August

• At approximately 1.30 PM CET, in the Palau de Congressos, appearance along with other new members of the team at the XXXV World Congress of Supporters Clubs.

• At 7.30 PM CET, at the Camp Nou on occasion of the Joan Gamper Trophy, presentation to the crowd along with the rest of the first team.

Tuesday, 19 August

• At midday, exact time to be determined depending on training schedule, photo session with the media on the Camp Nou turf.

• Immediately afterwards, presentation press conference, joined by vice-president Jordi Mestre and director of sport Andoni Zubizarreta.
