When FC Barcelona and Rayo Vallecano face off at Camp Nou on Sunday at 12.00pm CET, it will renew an old rivalry between Luis Enrique and Paco Jémez. They will compete against each other for the first time in 16 years, this time as coaches. As players they squared off eleven times with Luis Enrique getting four wins, two draws and suffering six defeats while playing for Real Madrid and FC Barcelona. In 1992/93 with Luis Enrique playing for Real Madrid, he beat Paco Jémez and Rayo Vallecano in a league match at Vallecas 2-0.
