Luis Enrique says team pointed in right direction

The coach once again lauds the tremendous effort given by his players. He said his team showed the crowd its willpower and deep concentration.

The Camp Nou was once again a scene of an offensive and defensive clinic, with Barça head coach Luis Enrique once again highlighting the team's work ethic and commitment. “I thought we were intense, precise, ambitious, and solid on defence," the coach declared after his teams 6-0 blowout win over Granada.The team are showing effectiveness and resolve in all facets of the game.

The team were lead by Neymar's hat-trick, two scores from Messi, and another by Rakitic, along with yet another outstanding defensive performance. “The players really did well tonight stopping the other team," he said before adding, “This is the way to win."

Luis Enrique also talked about the differences between tonight's match versus Granada and Wednesday's 0-0 draw at Malaga. “These two games are difficult to compare. For starters, it's different playing at home and away, and our opponents presented different challenges," he explained.

After being shut out at Malaga and scoring six versus Granada, the coach feels like his players have shown a good bit of resolve. He was very happy that “the fans got to see us at our best, fully concentrated, and with the hunger to win."

Neymar and Messi were the stars of the match. The coach gave special praise to his Argentine superstar, who scored his 400th career goal. "It's like Messi was touched by a magic wand or something. He just loves football." And the coach admitted he prefers watching Messi on the field and than on the bench, even if it means resting him less.Messi must have been touched by a magic wand. He just loves to play.

The coach was also happy with Xavi's contribution to the match. It was the midfielder's first Liga start this year. 

When asked about the coming "El Clasico" versus Real Madrid at the end of October, Luis Enrique was blunt. “I am not worried about that yet, and honestly I don't even know when that match is. The only thing I care about right now is our next match, in Paris."
