Luis Enrique didn’t say whether he thought Barça deserved anything more than a 2–2 draw at Sánchez Pizjuán after their first half performance. "It doesn’t matter if it’s fair or not, it is what it is and it’s not changeable," said the coach, noting that "it’s okay, we’re still in first place.” The coach reiterated that he believes that the league championship will not be decided until the end. "Last year the league was decided on the last day. This year we are leaders before that."

Talking about the game, Luis Enrique explained that "in the first half we played very good football and created problems for Sevilla." He lamented, however, that Sevilla were given breathing room during a short time in the first half that allowed them to get back in the game.

He are the highlights of what he had to say:

"We had a great first half except for five minutes when we fell apart."

"The second half was more balanced, no team was superior and we made one mistake."

"We had the feeling that we could get the third goal but also give up one. And we conceded that goal in a way that we didn’t think would happen: our own error.”

"When Xavi came in we looked to be in control of the game, we had the ball and more options inside with Andrés Iniesta, but we had a tough time maintaining longer possessions.”
