Luis Enrique thinks Barça deserved to beat Celta Saturday at Camp Nou / MIGUEL RUIZ-FCB

Barça players are supposed to control play. "That's what we want to do, but if we can't we have trouble," said Luis Enrique after the team's first home loss of the season.

But he isn't worried because he liked the constant pressure his side generated and said that good football from their opponent and some other freak moments were what led to the loss. "It's time for us to pick ourselves up and focus on the next match," versus Ajax in the Champions League, this time in Amsterdam.

Now we have to get back up and get ready for the next match

It was man-to-man defence and persistence on offense that knocked Barça off balance. "We had 19 scoring chances, but we were not very effective," the coach explained. "I think we deserved to win this match." However, he did admit that they couldn’t control the game because Celta played "very well."

That didn't surprise him, as he "expected a match like that." Even though we "generated more chances in the second half," Barça weren't very lucky, and Celta goalkeeper Sergio Álvarez was outstanding.

I expected a game like this; I did expect more, but it wasn't to be

"There will be days like this" throughout the season, but we'll see "what we can improve upon" to right the ship of a team that already has the right attitude. "I like the team's attitude, and it would great if we had that many opportunities every game," he said.

Not even comeback losses will change his philosophy. "I think in almost all the games we've won possession and, even though that's not what counts, I'm not going to change my mentality nor our approach." Why? Because Barça "is always better off with the ball."
