FC Barcelona head coach Luis Enrique knows how important it is to keep summing points on the road in the home stretch of a hotly contested league race. "We’ve survived another week and still depend on ourselves. That’s the most important thing," he said following his team’s 2–0 win on Saturday at Power Stadium over cross-city rivals RCD Espanyol. "Feeling doesn’t matter," he added. “It’s all about the wins and the points.”

The coach said he felt that Saturday’s first half was the team’s best so far this season in La Liga. He also stressed that, despite the expulsion to Jordi Alba early in the second half, his players managed to stay in control of the game.

Here are some other highlights of what Luis Enrique had to say after the match:

"The calendar looks good from afar, but then you have to go out and play the game. We faced a difficult game if only because it was a derby and who our opponents were."

"The five games left have their own challenges. The most important stretch is coming up."
