There are no favourites in a final, but that has not stopped both FC Barcelona and its fans from dreaming of the second title of the season. Athletic Club, however, "will make things very difficult and will demand of us maximum effort," warned Andrés Iniesta, who appeared Friday alongside Sergio Busquets in the pre-Final press conference. "They won’t hand us the ball and in a final anything can happen, so we can’t underestimate Athletic," added Busquets.

Here is a selection of highlights of what the two Barça midfielders had to say:

The opponent

Iniesta: "We’re concerned about the way press, they’re always intense and don’t take any plays off. You can see how they’re coached and they’re very hard workers."

"Athletic will go all out because that’s what they’ve done in every game we’ve faced them."

The atmosphere

Iniesta: "The Spanish Cup Final is a beautiful and special day. There’ll be two groups of fans ready to go. It seems like a Champions League final, but in our stadium."

"We feel the excitement and the hunger due to the moment we find ourselves in. It's beautiful."

Sergio Busquets: "We love playing the Cup Final because of the relationship between fan bases."

The possible double

Iniesta: "Having won the league, getting the double is a motivation. We know we have to play very well."

"The team is aware that we are about to achieve something big, which is very rarely achieved."

Sergio Busquets: "It's true that the team is in fine form. We went from less to more and we have a chance at a historic season, but without the second title there’s no shot at the treble."

Favourites

Iniesta: "We don’t pay attention to that stuff and we don’t feel we’ve won before taking the field. In a final, anything can happen to change the game and there’s a fine line between winning or losing."

Sergio Busquets: "Barça are favourites but anything can happen in a final. It’s true that we have won the last two finals against Athletic, but it’ll be 11 against 11 on the pitch."
