FC Barcelona and Villarreal face off at Camp Nou on Wednesday night at 8.00pm (CET) in the first leg of the Spanish Cup semi-finals. Barça got here by easily winning their round of 32 tie versus Huesca before felling Elche in the round of 16. The blaugranes then knocked out Atlético Madrid in the quarter-finals to reach the semis for the eighth time in nine years.

Villarreal, meanwhile, have arrived in the semi-finals after an impressive run, having yet to lose a match in the tournament as well. Their record so far is five wins and a draw.
