FC Barcelona have their first midweek game of the season on Wednesday, and it’s their Champions League opener against APOEL Nicosia. And not long after that, they’re in league action against Levante. Luis Enrique will be running six training sessions in between.
There will be sessions every day except Sunday, when the players will be travelling south to Valencia to face Levante. Training will start each day at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper at 11.00 AM CET. After the Tuesday session, Luis Enrique and one of his players will be appearing in the official pre-Champions League press conference, and later that same day, Giorgos Donis and one of his APOEL Nicosia players will be doing likewise at 6.30 PM CET, before the Cypriots train on the Camp Nou pitch at 7.00 PM CET.
Luis Enrique is not giving his players any days off this week. With a Champions League game on Wednesday and a Liga game on Sunday, this is going to a busy seven days for him and his team.
