The Barça strike trio all found the net against Levante / FCB

  • With the five goals against Levante in the 5-0 victory, the Argentine, the Brazilian and the Uruguayan now have scored 48 goals between them. Messi with 26 is the top scorer of the three.
  • Leo Messi’s assist for Neymar’s goal against Levante was his 14th in the league this season.
  • With Neymar scoring the first goal at the weekend, it is now 11 games in which the Brazilian has opened the scoring for the blaugranes. Of those 11 games, he has scored the opening goal of the match on eight occasions.
  • Luis Suárez’s goal is the first time that the Uruguyan has scored coming off the bench. His other six goals all have come when he has been in the starting 11.
  • The win against Levante was the eleventh victory in a row for FC Barcelona this season. Since 4 January the blaugranes have won every single game, scoring 42 goals and conceding just eight.
  • Messi’s hat trick was his 31st in a Barça shirt. His three goals on Sunday was the first time he had scored a hat trick against Levante, one of the few teams in the league that he had not scored three goals in one match against.
  • Leo Messi’s goal from the penalty spot was the second time that the blaugranes had scored a spot kick this season. The only penalty missed in the league this season came in the game against Levante in the first half of the campaign.

Even though he was only on the field 25 minutes, Luis Suárez scored a memorable goal at the end of an excellent team move. Below we can see in details how the strike came about:
