Barça have never before known success like this, the most comparable periods previously being that of the Dream team and its four consecutive titles from 1990 to 1994, and the Five Cups team that won four leagues between 1947 and 1953. Real Madrid still have the most Liga titles (32) while the top two are followed by Atlético Madrid (10), Athletic Bilbao (8) and Valencia (6).
Three legends
Xavi Hernández, Andrés Iniesta and Leo Messi have played a part in all seven of those title wins in the last decade, while Xavi can actually go one better, for he was also in the team that won the championship in 1998/99.
