This Sunday at Anoeta at 9.00 PM CET, Claudio Bravo will be appearing for the first time as a Barça player in the stadium where he defended the Real Sociedad goal for eight seasons, and also wore the captain’s armband. It was in 2006 that the Chilean made his first appearance in European football.

In eight years in San Sebastián, Bravo made the second highest number of appearances ever for a foreigner at ‘la Real’, and was also the third most used goalkeeper in club history.

In the summer of 2014, Bravo came to FC Barcelona after being a huge success both at Anoeta and for his country, and soon won the confidence of manager Luis Enrique, who has played him in every league game so far with a wonderful record of just seven goals conceded in sixteen matches.
