Bravo reveals secret to saving penalty kicks

The Barça goalkeeper says working hard everyday is what fuels his performance
FC Barcelona goalkeeper Claudio Bravo delivered one of the key highlights in Saturday's 2–0 victory over Valencia at Camp Nou. In the first half Bravo stopped Dani Parejo's penalty kick along with other big saves, like Rodrigo's try on 74 minutes. "I work hard every day to improve and make plays like today," said Bravo, who also admitted one of the keys to stopping penalty kicks: "You have to make the shooter think and have some doubt. It worked out wonderfully."

Talking about the game, the Chilean keeper said, "We suffered a bit because Valencia are very strong. We're happy about the victory. They came close a few times; we won a tough match."

Here are more highlights from the post-game reactions to the triumph over Valencia:

Sergio Busquets

"We are playing against very good teams and winning and that makes us very happy."

"It's clear that we played better in the second half than in the first. They were tactically better in the first half."

"This victory isn't decisive for the league title, but a winlike this is very big."

"About Messi I can only say that we have to keep enjoying him. He's the best in the world and he shows it every day."

Ivan Rakitic

"We're where we wanted to be — in first place in La Liga with a good result in the quarterfinals of the Champions League and we're in the Spanish Cup final."
