The first team got back to work on Friday morning, with all 25 players that have made the trip to Birmingham working out on the pitch. As has been the norm this week, Luis Enrique worked with 17 players from the first team and 8 from Barça B. There will be one further session at the FA’s St George’s Park facility early this evening before the team head to France on Saturday morning for the second preseason friendly.
The Nike Academy Under-21 team and the Monroe Soccer Club from New Jersey, who are lucky enough to be staying in the same hotel as the FC Barcelona players, were specially invited to watch the first fifteen minutes of the morning session.
