Barça are all set for the Champions League trip to Manchester / MIGUEL RUIZ - FCB

The Champions League is back at last and on Sunday morning the first team squad trained for the first time with their minds fully focused on the crunch game with Manchester City. When the session was over, Luis Enrique announced that he is taking all 21 of his available first team players on the trip, leaving hind only the injured Douglas and Vermaelen.

The full squad travelling to Manchester is thus as follows: Ter Stegen, Bravo, Masip, Montoya, Piqué, Rakitic, Sergio, Xavi, Pedro, Iniesta, Suárez, Messi, Neymar, Rafinha, Mascherano, Bartra, Jordi Alba, Sergi Roberto, Adriano, Alves and Mathieu.

The workout was used to recover from the exertions of Saturday’s disappointing home defeat to Málaga and to get the players focused on the game that kicks off at the Etihad at 8.45pm CET on Tuesday night. Jordi Alba worked out in isolation, while Douglas was able to train with the group despite not yet having been given medical clearance to play. The team will fly to England on Monday and will train at the match venue in the evening.

The following is Barça’s schedule for their first day in Manchester (all times CET):

10.00am: Departure for Manchester.

6.00pm: Press conference with Luis Enrique and Gerard Piqué in the City of Manchester Stadium.

7.00pm: Training in the City of Manchester Stadium
