The remainder of Barça’s season will be all about the quest for yet another league and cup double. There are seven games left, to be played over 37 days. Here we take a look at what is still to come this season:

GRANADA v FC BARCELONA. Round 33. Saturday 12 April (8.00 PM CET)
Barça have to bounce back from Champions League elimination, and the only way they can do that is by bagging all three points against relegation-threatened Granada.

FC BARCELONA v REAL MADRID. Spanish Cup Final. Wednesday 16 April (9.30 PM CET)
Mestalla will be the venue for a cup final and a clásico all rolled into one. Barça beat the all-whites in both of this season’s league meetings.

FC BARCELONA v ATHLETIC BILBAO. Round 34. Sunday 20 April (9.00 PM CET)
The cup final will be followed by the visit of Valverde’s Athletic Bilbao to the Camp Nou. Currently fourth, the Basques are battling for a place in next season’s Champions League qualifying round.

VILLARREAL v FC BARCELONA. Round 35. Saturday 26 or Sunday 27 April.
Another tough game, and on paper the hardest road trip left in the league. Barça have never found life easy at El Madrigal, and Villarreal are well in contention for a European place next term.

FC BARCELONA v GETAFE. Round 36. Saturday 3 or Sunday 4 May.
Not one of FCB’s remaining opponents are sitting comfortably in mid-table. Getafe are currently in the relegation zone, which means they’ll be doing all they can to grab much needed points from this match.

ELCHE v FC BARCELONA. Round 37. Saturday 10 or Sunday 11 May.
Elche are four points clear of the relegation zone, but are by no means safe yet. Martínez Valero will be hoping they will be by the time of his return to Barça.

FC BARCELONA v ATLÉTICO MADRID. Round 38. Saturday 17 or Sunday 18 May.
The last game of Barça’s season is the one everyone is talking about. The Catalans are at home to Atlético Madrid, and there’s every chance of this match being a head-to-head to decide the Liga title.

Barça’s rivals in the title chase are the two Madrids. Atlético are currently one point above them and Real are two below, but both those sides have at least two, and possibly three, Champions League games to play in addition to the above.
