Personalised Coca-Cola for the players

Before training on Friday morning, the Barça players all received bottles of Coca-Cola with their names on. It’s all part of the ‘Share a Coke With’ campaign, through which the company wishes to show its support for football and its fans. An total of 550 million containers have been produced bearing the most common names in Spain, as well as generic names and expressions.

Every team in the Spanish first and second division has received its own personalised Coke bottles.

Impact at Barça v Madrid

Last October 26, when Barça and Real Madrid met for the Clásico in La Liga at the Camp Nou, thousands of supporters were able to ‘share’ a Coke with their heroes after 40,000 half-litre cups were personalised with the names of players.
