Jordi Alba is into the final stretch of his recovery from the muscle injury that he suffered on October 19th and hopes to be back in full training within 10 or 15 days. Speaking at a promotional event, which Juan Carles Navarro also attended, Alba explained: “I’ve gone through a bad time – a really bad time. I’ve never been injured before and then I pick up one that rules me out for three weeks and now this one for six.  Now I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, I’m feeling better every day and I'm eager to train and start playing with the rest of the team”.I’m eager to train and start playing with the rest of the team

Alba reckons the team is playing really well at the moment: “we aren’t bothered by the talk of how we are playing. We are getting results and playing really well. Watching the team from the outside, they look fantastic. We have alternatives now and I am sure we will get even better”.we aren’t bothered by the talk of how we are playing. Asked about the injury to Leo Messi, Alba was clear that: “we should leave him be - he'll come back when he's ready”, whilst insisting: “he’s the best player in the world by a long way and everyone knows that”.
