From Belletti to Alves, two goals to remember

From Belletti to Alves, two goals to remember

The goal from the full-back in Manchester reminded us of the one that earned Barça their second Champions League in Paris The two Brazilians are, for obvious reasons, amongst the most important right-backs in Barça's history

In the 89th minute at the Etihad, Dani Alves cut in from the right , played a one-two with Neymar, and put the ball through keeper Hart's legs, to make it 2-0. It was a valuable goal for Barça in Manchester, that reminded us of another very important goal in the history of the Club.  That was the goal that earned Barça their second Champions League, scored by Juliano Belletti in París.

In the 80th minute, in the Final against Arsenal (2006), with the score at 1-1,and also playing against ten men, Belletti played a one-two with Larsson on the right flank, and scored the deciding goal in the 2-1 win, with a shot that went through the legs of goalkeeper Almunia.

So the history of Alves and Belletti converge once again. Both are Brazilian, and both successful full backs at Barça. Belletti played for the Club between 2004 and 2007, whilst Alves came to the Camp Nou in 2008.
