FC Barcelona sealed passage to the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey this Wednesday evening. Getafe, Valencia, Mallorca (on two occasions), Almeria, and Real Madrid were Barça’s semi-final rivals since the 2006/07 season. Only in the 2009/10 season, against Sevilla, were Barça eliminated from the competition before the semi-final round.
