After this afternoon’s Champions League group stage draw, Andoni Zubizarreta said that Tito Vilanova’s men were place in a “group that breathes football; different styles of play will be displayed that appeal to everyone.”

The three rivals

After Barça drew Benfica, Celtic and Spartak Moscow in Group G, Zubizarreta talked about each one of the Club’s rivals. On Benfica, the director of football said that “the Portuguese style of play focuses on passing and Da Luz stadium always offers up a great atmosphere.” Zubizarreta, on Celtic FC, said “the Scottish team doesn’t need to be defined, they are a historic team in the world of football. They have such great passion for the sport.” Finally, on Spartak Moscow, he said: “Russian football is growing. It seems as though we find out about a new talented Russian player each day.”
