The Catalan Football Federation has proposed a single matchday for both the Catalan Super Cup and the Catalan Cup. The proposed date is Wednesday the 26th of September. The President of the Federation, Andreu Subies, explained this Monday that the four clubs involved in the competition have 48 hours to accept or decline the proposed date.

The final will be played between the fifth and six matchdays of the Liga. Barça will host Granada at the Camp Nou on the weekend of September 22nd, and visit Seville the following week, on the weekend of September 29th. It’s worth noting that the Champions League is scheduled to start the previous week, on Tuesday the 18th or Wednesday the 19th.
