This Tuesday’s Barça-Milan match was the highest attended Champions League game of the 2012/13 season. A total of 94,944 fans came to the Camp Nou to watch the match live, beating the previous record of 79,532 fans at the San Siro for the Milan-Barça match (away leg, round of 16) and the 79,429 fans for the Real Madrid-Manchester United match (away leg, round of 16).

The two games against Real Madrid, highest attended matches

Despite the nearly overwhelming support in the stands this evening at the Camp Nou, tonight’s wasn’t the most attended Barça match of the season. The game against Real Madrid in the Liga (96,589) and in the Cup (95,002) saw more fans flock to the stadium.
