Celtic FC fired five goals past St. Mirren, in the Scottish Premier League, ahead of their visit to the Camp Nou next Tuesday for the third match of the Champions League Group Stage. The Glasgow-based team, who continue to sit atop the table, comfortably beat their Paisley counterparts this afternoon as they quickly jumped to a 0-4 lead after only 38 minutes. Hooper, on the quarter hour mark, scored the opener and Ambrose doubled the lead three minutes later.

In the following five minutes, Wanyama’s shot found the back of the net to make it three. The player stuck gold again minutes later with a long-range shot to close out the scoring in the first half.

Celtic, with the game won, preserved its lead in the second half. Barça’s next rival in the Champions League fired home its fifth goal of the night, thanks to Watt, with three minutes left in the game. Barça will host the Scottish team on Tuesday at the Camp Nou at 20.45.
