FC Barcelona have decided to travel straight from Gothenburg to Bucharest and stay in the Swedish city for a couple of days after the Manchester United game, unlike the other pre-season friendlies, when the team have always returned back to Barcelona.

Training in Sweden

The players will take advantage of the two days in Gothenburg after the game against Manchester United to train ahead of their trip to Bucharest to play the final pre-season friendly ahead of the Joan Gamper Trophy. The squad will then return to Barcelona after the match against Dynamo Bucharest to begin preparations for the opening league game against Real Sociedad.

In the other pre-season friendlies, Barça have made a point of returning to Barcelona after the match to resume training at the Ciutat Esportiva. This weekend, they will be returning to Barcelona on Sunday morning after Saturday’s 22.00 kick off in Tangiers.
