22 players, 18 from the first team and 4 from Barça B, trained this Saturday morning at the Ciutat Esportiva. Xavi, Busquets, and Adriano -the absent players from Thursday’s training session- were were with the group today.

Xavi, with muscle endema in the soleus of his right leg, Busquets (knee wound), and Adriano (niggling problems in his left leg), trained apart from the group on Thursday. This Saturday, however, all three of the players were back with the group.

Tello, Montoya, Muniesa and Bartra, present

The four Barça B players called up by Josep Guardiola are Tello, Montoya, Muniesa and Bartra. Guardiola, with depleted defensive resources for tomorrow’s Valencia clash could call on the three Barça B defensive players to fill the gaps left by suspended Alves and Mascherano.

The team will train once again on Sunday morning, at 12:00, at the Camp Nou. It will be the last session before the match against Unai Emery’s men (21:30, Canal + and Radio Barça).

Alves, misses training with Guardiola's permission

Dani Alves, with the manager’s permission, didn’t train this Saturday morning. The Brazilian, suspended for the Valencia match, will also miss tomorrow’s training session.
