Thiago, amb la selecció espanyola

FC Barcelona is the team with the most players named to the under-21 Spanish national side coached by Luis Milla. In total, six Barça players will take part in Spain’s next round of qualifiers for the European Championship. Milla has selected first team player, Thiago Alcántara, and  Isaac Cuenca, who has featured in Guardiola’s starting eleven in the last three games, and the reserve players Muniesa, Bartra, Montoya, and Planas.

The under-21 Spanish side will play the first of their qualifiers against Estonia, November 10th in Melilla, and the second against Switzerland, on November 14th in Córdoba. The summoned players, six of them Azulgrana, will begin preparing for the qualifiers on Monday, November 7th.

To miss the Copa del Rey

Pep Guardiola knowns that he won’t be able to use Thiago, Isaac Cuenca, or any of the aforementioned reserve players for Barça’s upcoming Copa del Rey away game against Hospitalet, set for Wednesday, November 9th at 22:00 hours.
