FC Barcelona will display, on Thursday in Pamplona, in the Cup match against Osasuna, the World Club Champions logo, awarded to the winners of the FIFA Club World Cup. Barça can wear this distinction on their shirts in all games played until after the end of the 2012 FIFA Club World Cup in Japan. The gold emblem, which will include the Club World Cup and the inscription "World Champions 2011," will be located above the Qatar Foundation logo.

This is the second time that FC Barcelona shirts will carry the champion's shield, after they premiered it after winning in Abu Dhabi. Past winners of the FIFA World Club Cup have also been privileged to wear the gold insignia on their shirts. Released for the first time after the FIFA World Club Championship of 2007, the insignia has been worn by clubs like AC Milan, Manchester United, Inter Milan, and FC Barcelona, in their case twice.

Fans who purchase the Barça shirt will also be able to incorporate the FIFA logo, at an added cost of 5 Euros. Those who wish to add it, but already have the Barça strip this season, will also be able to acquire the emblem at FCBotigues and official Nike outlets, amongst others.
