The players returned to training on Saturday morning after enjoying a day's break between Cup and league commitments. Andrés Iniesta, who picked up a leg injury in an earlier Cup game against Hospitalet, completed training without incident and was later handed the medical all clear.

Pep Guardiola was able to prepare for Sunday's Game with the 19 available first team players plus Isaac Cuenca from Barça B.  Ibrahim Afellay and David Villa will be out for some time yet.

Today, Villa coincided with his team-mates in training for the first time since his operation.

The team will have a final training session on Sunday.

Rafa Márquez joins the group

The former Barça defender, who trained alongside Eusebio’s Barça B on Thursday, joined up with some of his former team-mates for training on Saturday.  The Mexican plays for the New York Red Bulls and is keeping fit at the Club’s installations during the MLS break.  . Márquez was a key part of the Barça defence under Frank Rijkaard and also played a role in Guardiola’s first two seasons as manager.
