Following Sunday's rest day after the 8-0 win over Osasuna, the squad trained at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper this lunchtime and began preparing for the trip to Valencia this Wednesday(22.00). The good news for Pep Guardiola was that Gerard Piqué played a full part in the session.

Back in training

Piqué suffered a calf injury during training for the Spanish Super Cup on August 23rd and since then he has been working out on his own. On Saturday he took part in the session before the Osasuna game with the rest of the players.

19 first team players and 4 from the B team

The 19 first team squad members were joined by four B team players -Muniesa, Cuenca, Armando and Riverola on pitch number 2 at Sant Joan Despí

Andrés Iniesta and Alexis Sánchez, who are both injured, worked on their recoveries apart from the rest of the players.
