Leo Messi celebrated his 25th birthday doing the thing he loves most: playing football. Following the friendlies in Bogota and Cancun, the Argentine played a charity match in Miami with three of his FC Barcelona teammates: Dani Alves, Javier Mascherano and José Manuel Pinto. Other well-known footballers also featured in the match like Cavani, Falçao, Drogba and Luis Suárez. The players were divided up into two teams: Messi’s Friends and The Rest of the World. The end result was a seven-all draw.

The three-time Ballon d’Or winner put in a sublime performance. Messi finished the match with three goals and he provided three assists. The 50,000 spectators at Sun Life Stadium cheered the teams on for 90 minutes despite the heavy rain.
