Josep Guardiola and his team prepared for the next UCL game at the Camp Nou immediately after the coach and Leo Messi had concluded their pre-match press conference. The session began at 18.30 and was open to the media for the first fifteen minutes. 19 players have been named in the squad to face Viktoria Plzeň.

There were 21 players involved in the session, the first team stars were joined by the B team's Isaac Cuenca and Jonathan Dos Santos. Cesc Fàbregas, recovering from injury, joined his teammates for a portion of the session as he did on Monday. Alexis Sánchez, however, unable to train alongside the team, continued his recovery work apart from the group.

Josep Guardiola has 17 players to choose from, plus the aforementioned pair from Eusebio Sacristán's side, going into the third match of the Champions League group stage. Afellay, Piqué, Cesc, and Alexis were left out due to injury.

12.00 session on Wednesday

Once the session ended, as is customary for Champions League games, the players left for the hotel where they will be staying the night. They will return to the Camp Nou for more training on Wednesday morning and then go back to the hotel for lunch and rest before returning to the stadium in good time for the 20.45 kickoff against Viktoria Plzeň.
