The FC Barcelona Under-19 A squad will not be at the Final Four in Nyon on 15 April after falling to Anderlecht in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Youth League by a score of 2–0. It was the exact same disappointment they had in the last 16 last season when they also fell to Anderlecht.

Tuesday's match was a portrait of bad luck, as the team coached by Gabri García deserved much more after dominating throughout the match. FC Barcelona had many more scoring chances than the Belgians, they just couldn't convert, keeping them from reaching the Final Four of European competition for the second time in team history.
