The youngsters earn a narrow victory thanks to Carbonell’s penalty which guarantees fourth place in the Division of Honour

FC Barcelona U19 picked up a hard-fought three points on Sunday against CD San Fransico in Mallorca.

The decisive goal came on the stroke of half time as Carbonell calmly converted from the penalty spot. The team dug deep to preserve the lead throughout the second half which assures fourth place in the league.

Barça are currently on 55 points, six more than Zaragoza in fifth, with just one game left before the end of the season. Next week sees Gabri’s team host Sant Andreu.
