Barça B only made it half the way to victory in their duel against Cornellà at the Mini Estadi on Saturday evening, adding only a point despite looking to be the much better side in the second half. Cornellà went ahead before the break, but the Catalans managed to equalise early in the second stanza. Despite numerous occasions, they were unable to break through for a second goal and walked away with a draw.

One big positive was the fact that new additions Moisés, Fali and Dani Romera made their debuts for Barça B before 1,407 spectators.

Although Barça B promptly took the initiative, Cornellà's well-organised defence held out well until Masqué beat Ortolá with a shot against the grain on just their second attempt of the game.

Joan Cámara drew Barça B level after half-time after winning a loose ball inside the Cornellà penalty area and pulling the trigger.

Later on, menacing runs by Godswill, Dongou and Aleñá created plenty of danger but Cornellà goalkeeper Marcos was stellar when he had to be and a spate of tough luck befell the Catalans as they were unable to snatch a win and had to settle for a well-played draw.
