Munir El Haddadi is the new name amongst the 18 players selected for Barça B’s game this weekend against Numancia at the Mini Stadium (Saturday, 6PM CET). The striker has figured exclusively for the first team this season and it is the first time he has been available for B team coach Eusebio. Also on the list are Sergi Samper and Sandro, who like Munir, have both returned following international duty with the Spanish U21 squad in their recent friendly against Belgium.

The entire squad is as follows: Ortolá, Suárez, Grimaldo, Patric, Ié, Samper, Adama, Calvet, Dongou, Joan Roman, Munir, Bicho, Gumbau, Cámara, Maxi Rolón, Sandro, Diagné and Costa. Bagnack is missing due to suspension and Lucas Gafarot is also out with an Achilles problem.

In his pre-game press conference Eusebio made it clear that the game against Numancai is a “great chance to pick ourselves up” after defeat on Wednesday in the Catalan Cup against Europa. “It’s time for a little pride”, said the former Barça player.

The coach described Saturday’s opponents from Soria in the north-east of Spain as “a team who traditionally are very competitive, and are very clear about what they do. They work hard, have intensity, pressure you on the ball, counter attack well and threaten from set pieces. We will have to be strong playing our own way.”
