FC Barcelona B gave their all the pitch and had chances to tie against Betis, but it wasn't to be and the Second Division leaders were able to overcome an early Sandro strike with scores from Dani Ceballos and Jorge Molina.

The game started well for Barça and, after two minutes of play, Sandro hit the crossbar but got to his own rebound and sent the ball into the back of the net, sparking a euphoric celebration after the seventh goal of the season for the team's second leading scorer. Betis managed to tie 15 minutes later with a head-on shot from Dani Ceballos inside the right post, just barely beating Barça keeper José Aurelio Suárez.

Both teams might have added a second goal, but Dongou and Adama couldn't finish a pair of counterattacks while Jorge Molina was denied by Suárez on a shot from inside the area.

It was during a less-intense second half that Jorge Molina netted the game-winner. The striker beat Suárez after taking a cross from the right wing. Dongou missed a great chance to tie it up and, despite the fresh legs of Munir El Haddadi, Sergi Samper and David Babunski, Barça B missed out on a huge point. The team will continue their fight to avoid relegation next week in Soria.
