Adama Traoré has signed this Wednesday a contract extension with FC Barcelona that will take him to the 30th of June, 2018. The Barça B striker put pen to paper in the presence of sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta and the director responsible for Barça B, Silvio Elías.

Talking to Barça TV, Adama Traore expressed his delight at the agreement: “I am very happy. It’s a dream come true for any player from the youth system. It’s a happy day for my family.” He also had words for those who had helped him get where he is today: “I think a lot of the blame for my progression lies with the coaches I have had here at Barça as they have told me how to improve, which is what I try to do.”
