Barça B

The first half saw both teams share domination. Gerard Deulofeu took the initiative up front for Barça B and created plenty of problems for the Huesca defence, whilst the hosts also had their chances, though they were unable to put any of them away in the first half.

Riverola goal provokes Huesca reaction

Martí Riverola struck just after the break and Huesca then laid siege to Oier’s goal, with Tariq and Helguera both coming close to equalising. Camacho also had a good chance, as Huesca took control, but the clock was against them.

Counter attacking

Barça B were pinned back, but they looked dangerous on the break and only a great stop from Cabrera kept out a good Gerard Deulofeu effort on 75 minutes. As Huesca began to falter, Barça B came back and took control and on 82 minutes Carmona also came close to getting the second.

Ovation for Gerard

Two minutes after that chance, Eusebio substituted Gerard Deulofeu with Kiko Femenía and the young winger was given a standing ovation by the Huesca crowd – a fair reflection of Barça’s superior technical ability and in particular of Deulofeu’s excellent performance.
