Barça Lassa 7-2 Dinan Quévert: Group closes with a win

João Rodrigues contributes four goals to a confident victory against the French vistors

Barça Lassa have finished off their Euroleague Group A schedule with a convincing 7-2 victory over Dinan Quévert of France at the Palau Blaugrana. It was an ultimately meaningless tie, as the Catalans are already assured top spot in the group and the visitors had no chance of qualifying, but Barça Lassa took the test seriously and dominated the play and the scoring, with Matías Pascual, Marc Gual (2) and João Rodrigues (4) getting the goals.

Edu Castro used the game to give tryouts to Marc González, Alex Joseph and 'Chino' Miguélez of the reserves.

Barça’s next European date will be in the quarter finals against either fellow Catalan outfit Noia or Italian side Monza. The first leg is on March 23 and the return is at the Palau on April 6.
