Edu Castro's players dominated a game that became more difficult in the second half with CP Voltregà's counterattacks, and ran out eventual winners (2-3).
The match began at a frenetic pace, but Marc Gual's early goal calmed things down for Barça Lassa. Longer possession ensured the visitors took control, and Portuguese striker, Joao Rodrigues, extended their lead.
Voltregà came out after the break and created problems for Barça. When only 19 seconds had elapsed, Eric Vargas reduced the deficit, but the hosts were unable to take advantage of further chances that came their way immediately afterwards.
When 38 minutes had passed, and with Voltregà once again in the ascendency, Joao Rodrigues, assisted by Matias Pascual, scored the third for Barça. Five minutes later, Pol Manrubia, pulled another one back (2-3) to set up a nervy few last seconds.
Barça Lassa are next in action when they receive El Vendrell at the Palau Blaugrana next Friday, March 8, in the match corresponding to the 19th match of the OK League.
