After Sunday's amazing 5-0 win at the Ciutat de València, the team begin the last week of training in 2018
There were naturally plenty of smiles on the faces of the FC Barcelona first team squad after a hugely successful trip to Valencia had ended with a 5-0 defeat of Levante to ensure another week at the top of the Liga table.
Aside from the big win, the other hot topic of conversation was the Champions League draw, where fate has decided that Barça will be making the relatively short trip to Lyon to face Olympique in the last sixteen.
On a crisp but sunny December morning, they were joined on pitch number 2 at the Ciutat Esportiva by Iñaki Peña, Juan Miranda, Oscar Mingueza, Jorge Cuenca, Dani Morer and Riqui Puig of FC Barcelona B, as well as Jandro and Marqués of the U19 team.
There is no midweek game this week, so after a Monday session that was mainly focused on warming down after the game the night before, there will be two days off before they regroup for training on Thursday in preparation for the Saturday 6.30pm CET kick-off against Celta in the final Liga game of 2018.
